It is that time of year when the Alpine Loop’s leaves start changing colors. It had been raining for the last 48 hours. The wet leaves and gray cloud cover sky really made the colors vibrant. Spending time during any season at the Alpine Loop reminds us how lucky we are to make Utah the home of Fipper USA.
The Alpine Loop starts (in the North) in American Fork Canyon. The twenty-mile journey is along State Road 92. Along the route there are many places to pull off the road to take pictures, hike, picnic, and just relax. As you get closer to the summit the road narrows and the speed limit is 20 mph. The road isn’t recommended for vehicles longer then 30 feet. Remember the temperature is about 15 degrees cooler at the summit so make sure to bring layers.
These pictures were taken September 24, 2016. There is still time for you to journey up there yourself and enjoy this wonderful Utah autumn tradition.
